Inspiring and Creative Activities

The Montessori Schoolhouse offers a full complement of enrichment activities including a rich visual arts program, piano and violin lessons (available individually for a fee), weekly singing with our delightful minstrel Bruce, a dynamic and sophisticated Chess program, a cooperative movement Physical Education program, and Middle School Spanish.

Before/After School Care

Before and Afterschool Care is available on a fee basis:

• Early drop-off at both schools begins at 7:45 a.m.

• The Preschool/Kindergarten Afterschool program runs from 12:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the 6th Avenue location.

• The Elementary Afterschool program runs from 2:45 to 5:30 p.m. at the Fort Lowell location.

Our Afterschool programs feature engaging and fun activities such as art, cooking, games, and outdoor play!
